A local cinema in Nanjing, China sues Shu Qi for 1 yuan (1 renminbi) for “damaging the people and the city’s morale” when the latter announced that it will not go to Nanjing to promote her latest movie “Meiren Cao” (English: Without Epidemic). Shu Qi reportedly commented that the Nanjing media was quite harsh.
