Ang Lee has finally decided that Mainland China actress Tang Wei will play the lead female role for “Lust, Caution“. Shu Qi and other popular actresses Zhou Xun and Liu Yifei were “candidates” for the female lead role.

Too bad… I wonder if Ang Lee will create a female Asian version of Brokeback Mountain and if so, will he cast Shu Qi and Karena Lam, or Joey Yung and Denise Ho?
