Shu Qi & Chang Chen are set to star in a US$12M Hou Hsiao-Hsien movie tentatively titled “Assasin” [聂隐娘].

“Assasin” [聂隐娘] is a Kung-fu movie. It tells the story of a woman from the Tang Dynasty who’s been adopted by nuns, and trained as a political assasin. It was reported that Shu Qi will play this role. Meanwhile, Chang Chen is slated to play the role of a Japanese actor named Tadanobu Asano.
