Happy Happy Birthday, Shu Qi

Happy Happy Birthday, Shu Qi
2008 is really a great year for Shu Qi. After opening up the year by being a jury member at the Berlin Film Festival, and just briefly following the announcement of her role in the Italian-mafia movie, Street of Dreams, Shu Qi set to do a Hollywood film again, by playing a role in one of the 12 short film anthology of New York, I Love You.
Shu Qi once again graces the cover of ELLE Magazine Hong Kong for its April 2008 issue.
The magazine is in Chinese so I’ll find a way and see if someone can translate the summary for us someday (of course I will never post an entire copyrighted magazine article content here and full-resolution copyrighted photos, that would be unethical and unprofessional).
So in this article post are some small pictures and a YouTube video about the interview (which might be copyrighted but there’s no way for us to buy it so this constitutes “fair use”.). Haha enjoy~
Showbusiness is definitely amazing.
35 days ago- Edison Chen, after thousands of sex scandal photos have been exposed, proclaimed that he is leaving showbusiness, indefinitely. Now hear this — he’s about to film a $13.8 million movie with no less than our very own superstar Shu Qi. Well, Edison didn’t exactly define which part of world he’s quitting showbusiness right?
Leslie Cheung is one of Hong Kong’s finest actors and definitely considered as a very talented singer and musician. 5 years ago today, Leslie committed suicide by jumping from the 24th floor of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Central, Hong Kong. He left a suicide note saying he is suffering from depression. Leslie was 46 years old when he died.
