A video of Shu Qi preparing for the Lux commercial in Berlin.

A fan posted a video comparing Shu Qi’s singing the theme song of the movie Blood Brothers (天堂口) versus a professional singer’s version.

Like what I’ve commented on the YouTube video, Xiao (蕭敬騰) sang very well but he overdid it. He’s singing the song at “performance level” more than from the heart, which is the reason why Shu Qi’s (舒淇) version is better. Her voice and emotion is just enough for the song.

Contrary to the YouTube title of the video, this TV commercial is actually in Mandarin, not in Cantonese.
